Children's Village

Children's Village is an integrated center for children with special needs and their families, providing 30 different types of medical, educational, and therapy services, all under one roof. The facility was designed with kids in mind, with features like a "mine shaft" elevator and a miniature tree-lined street to make the experience more fun and inviting.

The on-site services at Children's Village range from medical evaluations, physical/occupational therapy, and dental care all the way to family support services and drop-in childcare for siblings. Integrating the multiple aspects of care for children with chronic health conditions not only allows for improved coordination and efficiency of care, but also alleviates some of the burden on families by reducing the amount of paperwork, childcare coordination, and travel required for high-quality care.

Children's Village seeks to connect children with special needs and their families with supportive services.

More than 16,000 patients have received services at Children's Village since it opened in 1997. All children with special health or developmental needs and their families who live in central Washington State are welcome at Children's Village, regardless of their ability to pay. In fact, 85% of patients are on Medicaid. Compared to the national average, parents at Children's Village report significantly higher rates of feeling like a "partner in their child's care."
